Our Wedding

Our Next Chapter

Six years ago, our story began with a deep connection and mutual belief in living life fully. What started as two people finding each other quickly grew into something even bigger: a loud and loving blended family. Nowlan, Zoe, Teddy, Bodhi, and James have been at the heart of this journey from the very beginning, and watching our family grow together has been the greatest gift of all. Today, we are building a life we are deeply proud of, and this next chapter is about making it official in the best way possible. More than anything, this celebration is about bringing together the people who shaped our journeys, supported our families, and helped lead us to each other. We cannot wait to celebrate this moment with all of you. XO, Alyssa & Kevin

Getting to Montauk

For many of our guests, the journey to Montauk will be part of the experience and we highly encourage making a weekend of it. October is one of the most beautiful times of year on the East End, with vineyard season in full swing, crisp coastal weather, and the Hamptons a little quieter and more charming than summer.

Ferry Options to Long Island

For guests traveling from New England, the easiest and most scenic option is taking a ferry across the Sound to Long Island. We strongly recommend booking roundtrip tickets in advance, especially for weekend travel in the fall.Cross Sound FerryNew London, CT ↔ Orient Point, NYVehicle and passenger ferry service with multiple daily departures. Once you arrive in Orient Point, Montauk is about a 2 hour drive through the North and South Forks.Book here:Cross Sound Ferry ReservationsShortcut via Greenport & Shelter IslandOnce you arrive in Orient Point, you can save time by taking two short ferries instead of driving west through Riverhead:1. Orient Point → GreenportDrive approximately 15–20 minutes to Greenport, then take the North Ferry to Shelter Island. The crossing takes about 8 minutes and runs frequently. No reservation needed.2. Shelter Island → Sag HarborDrive approximately 10 minutes across Shelter Island, then take the South Ferry to North Haven/Sag Harbor. The crossing takes just a few minutes and runs frequently. No reservation needed. From North Haven, Montauk Yacht Club is approximately 50–65 minutes by car, depending on traffic.Viking Fleet FerryNew London, CT ↔ Montauk, NYA seasonal passenger ferry that brings you directly into Montauk Harbor.Book here:Viking Fleet Ferry ReservationsA few travel tips from frequent ferry travelers: book early, arrive 20 to 30 minutes before departure, and if the weather is nice, grab a seat outside for the ride across the Sound.

Make the drive part of the weekend

The drive out to Montauk is part of the magic. If you have a little extra time, we highly recommend turning the trip into a mini Hamptons road trip with a few classic East End stops along the way. Food & WineFor one perfect vineyard stop, we recommend Wölffer Estate Vineyard in Sagaponack for beautiful grounds, great wine, and the quintessential Hamptons atmosphere. Looking for the classic New York food experience? Make a stop at Goldberg’s Famous Bagels for an authentic bagel and coffee, then grab a classic deli sandwich from Hurricane Deli on your way east. For a true New York slice, Tonino's Pizza is a favorite local stop. Shopping & ExploringIf you want to stretch your legs and explore a bit, spend some time walking through Southampton and East Hampton. Newtown Lane in East Hampton and Main Street in Southampton are filled with beautiful boutiques, designer shopping, cafés, and classic Hamptons charm.

Things to Do

There is something about Montauk in October that feels different in the best way. The summer crowds are gone and the whole town settles into a slower rhythm. It is one of our favorite times to be there

If you are looking for a slower afternoon, grab a drink at Montauk Brewing Company and wander through town for a bit. Before sunset, make your way to Montauk Point Lighthouse. The views are incredible this time of year, especially with the cooler weather and changing light over the ocean.

Montauk Yacht Club Guest Experiences

Guests staying at Montauk Yacht Club can arrange a variety of activities directly through the hotel concierge throughout the weekend. Spend the morning paddle boarding or out on the water with an X Shore boat tour. Book a spa treatment, fit in a tennis match, or sneak away for yoga before the wedding festivities begin.
